Amy had quite the series of past injuries, muscle pulls, concussions, etc. Her biggest complaint was having pain during every shot. Pretty disruptive if you’re a professional point guard. From taking a good health history, we learned there were a ton of underlining factors that were causing that action signal of pain. We performed some nerve glides to relieve the tension and a proprioceptive taping technique that provided her brain with proper sensory input that was needed to decrease that signal of pain. Result, shooting a ball almost pain-free within TWO sessions! Way to go Amy! Now she’s back in Australia ballin!
