Ben came to me at the end of his senior year with one goal: be ready to compete at the D1 level from day one. As an intelligent, hard-working athlete heading to Creighton University, he knew the jump from high school to college soccer would be massive.
The Off-Season Protocol:
We designed a comprehensive program to prepare him for the speed, intensity, and physical demands of D1 soccer:
✅ Soccer-specific skills training – Position-specific movements and game scenarios ✅ Foot coordination drills – Elite-level ball control and footwork ✅ Speed mechanics – Acceleration, top-end speed, breath control and sprint efficiency ✅ Change of direction training – Agility and cutting mechanics for game situations ✅ Concussion prevention protocols – Neurological training to improve neck stability and impact resistance
The Result:
Ben arrived at Creighton physically and neurologically prepared to compete at the highest level. That season, the Creighton Bluejays soccer team advanced to the NCAA Final Four.
The Takeaway:
Elite performance isn’t just about working hard—it’s about working smart. Ben’s off-season preparation combined sport-specific skills with neurological training that protected him from injury and optimized his performance when it mattered most.
