An amazing and inspirational, individual who suffers from Friedreich’s Ataxia – Friedreich’s ataxia (also called FA or FRDA) is a rare inherited disease that causes nervous system damage and movement problems. In Friedreich’s ataxia the spinal cord and peripheral nerves degenerate, becoming thinner. The cerebellum, part of the brain that coordinates accuracy, balance and movement, also degenerates to a lesser extent. In Vlad’s case, he lost the ability to walk or move his body from legs to feet. We identified that his left cerebellum had been heavily compromised by the disease and built a program to strengthen this portion of the brain. We used a combination of joint, respiratory, vision and balance drills that directly stimulate the left cerebellum. Since working with 3 in 1 Elite and working hard in his off time, the results have been astounding. Vlad can now:
- More accurately and smoothly coordinated movements
- Improved ‘Brain Fog’ and can think more clearly
- Balance –> spine and posture sit taller and more in control
- Wiggle his toes —> fully extend his leg
- Stand, unassisted, for a second
Let that sink it. Stand. Unassisted. Start the slow clap for him. Great job Vlad! We can’t wait to see how much more you’ll improve with your continued hard work and perseverance.
